So This Happened... Week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 4CONTRA COSTA COUNTY—With coronavirus stats falling and Contra Costa County moving into the “Red Tier,” local schools are considering their reopening options.

“Making progress on the COVID-19 metrics is a positive development,” said Lynn Mackey, the county’s superintendent of schools.
