Letter to the Editor: “trans gender”

CONCORD, CA (July 2, 2023) —  This Letter to the Editor came in after The Pioneer posted our “Lean in with Love” column by Dominique King titled “Learning how to address others with proper pronouns.”

I cannot support the transgender movement. Most of my professional life I tried to help abused and neglected children. Now I witness mutilation and the sexualization [sic] of them being legal.  I also witness my religion being mocked. The crucification [sic] made fun of in the name of “fun”. I would ask those who think it “fun” to look at the palm of your hand and imaging a rusty nail being hammered into it. As for pronouns I learned how to use them and there [sic] definition a long time ago. I feel neither anger nor hate just a deep and profound sadness.
