CONCORD, CA (Sept. 6, 2022) — Due to the ongoing heat wave and high temperatures Concord has decided to cancel its scheduled Thursday night concert.

High temps will likely last well into the evening for the next several days. The Thursday night Music & Market events have brought happy crowds to Todos Santos Plaza all summer long. However, the Sept. 8 concert, featuring the Fast Times Band will not go on as planned.

Concord officials made the decision to protect the health and safety of the farmers’ market vendors and staff, musicians, Makers Boulevard vendors, and all attendees.

So far, the final 3 concerts of this year’s series remain scheduled. Music and Market will wrap up the season on Sept. 29 with the popular Pink Floyd tribute band, House of Floyd.
