CVCHS’ Food and Nutrition Services providing free meals for any kids

Clayton Valley Charter High School’s Food & Nutrition Services program has announced it will provide an opportunity for families to drive or walk through and pick up free meals for all CVCHS students and for any child 18 or under. ALL MEALS ARE FREE FOR ALL CHILDREN. Meals will be provided for free regardless of what school a child attends, regardless if they receive free or reduced price meals, and even if they pay full price for meals during regular school days. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided and two FREE meals will be provided per child.

All meals will include an entree, fruit/vegetable, and milk. Meals will be served between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday through Friday. This drive or walk through service will take place in the middle parking lot or bus lane at CVCHS. For those who are driving, please stay in your car and meals will be provided based on the number of children in the car. To access this lot, please enter the CVCHS campus from Alberta Way via the driveway between Forrestgreen Court and Skyler Court. This program will be solely for the pickup of meals. Meals will not be consumed on-site. We encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the school site once meals have been distributed.

Clayton Valley Charter High is located at 1101 Alberta Way, Concord, CA 94521. Please feel free to contact the school at 925-682-7474 ext. 3114 if you have any questions or concerns.
