Concord Seeks Applicants for Planning Commission 

Concord, Calif. (June 21, 2022) – At its June 28 meeting, the Concord City Council will announce the recruitment to fill an unscheduled vacancy on the Concord Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is seeking one member to fill the reminder of a term ending February 28, 2023.

The Planning Commission is comprised of five members, and it is responsible for developing and maintaining the General Plan of the Concord planning area.

Members review developments, tentative subdivision maps, use permits, and rezoning applications, and administer the City’s General Plan document. Applicants must be residents of Concord.

The commission meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber located at 1950 Parkside Drive.

Applications are due to the City Clerk by Friday, July 29, 2022 at 5 p.m.
