CONCORD, CA (May 7, 2023) — Concord celebrated spring at the second annual free Bay Area SpringFest on Saturday.

Visitors to Todos Santos Plaza on May 6 enjoyed non-stop music, eclectic food court, kid’s activities, plants, arts and crafts and other exhibitors. This year’s event also featured a beer and wine garden.

The event, presented by Bay Area Festivals, brought family and friends out eager to put winter behind them. Despite some scattered showers in the morning, the sun came out for a glorious afternoon in the park.

Over 80 vendors offered myriad shopping opportunities for a wide variety of products and services.

Local bands Sondango and Mad Apple kept the energy high. The Concord Marching Band also joined the celebration as well.

A new addition this year, the Beer & Wine Garden, featured beer from popular Concord breweries Side Gate and Epidemic Ales plus wine from Contra Costa’s Viano Vineyards. Proceeds from the Beer & Wine Garden benefit Sustainable Contra Costa.
