CLAYTON, CA (Sept. 9, 2021) – Clayton Valley Presbyterian Children’s Center Preschool is excited to introduce Kristine (Kristi) Buchholz as the new director.

Buchholz comes with more than 30 years of experience in child-care, ranging from infants to school-aged kids. She is a graduate of Cal State East Bay and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in early childhood education.

Buchholz has lived in Concord for 28 years with her husband Greg, son Sam, 21, and daughter Allie, 16. She has extensive experience in preschool classrooms and has been an active volunteer with PTA, swim team and other groups. Buchholz says she is looking forward to joining the school family and getting to know everyone.

The preschool, located at 1578 Kirker Pass Road, cares for children 2-5 years of age in three different classes. The children are kindergarten ready upon completion of the program.
