(Martinez, CA) – The Contra Costa County Probation Department has partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to host three public drop off sites for this year’s toy drive. Established in 1991, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a nationally recognized 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit charity that raises funds, and purchases and distributes an average of 18 million of toys to less fortunate children annually.

The department proudly joins the local campaign to provide community drop off sites. Deputy Probation Officer Justin Badler brought the idea to the attention of the Department. Badler saw this as a great opportunity to engage with residents in a positive way during the holiday season. “This will definitely make a difference in children’s lives and in the community we serve,” Badler stated after learning that there was a shortage of drop-off sites in West County.

Please bring donations of new, unwrapped toys to any of the following three Probation Department locations.

  • 3095 Richmond Parkway Suite 201 in Richmond
  • 50 Douglas Drive Suite 200 in Martinez
  • 2545 Delta Fair Boulevard in Antioch.

These drop-off sites are located within the Probation Department’s offices. They are available to accept public donations Monday through Friday, through Dec. 10, 2021, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. The offices closes daily from Noon – 1 p.m.
