Meet Leo and Barqs, who are looking for their forever homes at ARF.

Walnut Creek, CA — Looking for a furry friend during this trying time? Good news — Animal Rescue Foundation now offers a no-contact, virtual adoption process. If you see an animal that interests you on our website, just fill out an online inquiry form. Once your inquiry has been received, you will be added to our virtual adoption queue.

Leo: Four-year-old Leo is charming, active, and playful. His top two favorite activities are exploring on long walks and chasing his favorite toys. Leo is looking for a home where he can stretch his legs, have a few adventures, and cozy up next to his favorite people to watch a good movie and enjoy a late night snack!

The adoption fee for puppies (<6 months) is $350, for adult dogs is $250, and senior dogs (7+ years) and special needs dogs are 50% off the adoption fee.

Barqs: Two-year-old Barqs is a handsome cat who is looking for a quiet low-key forever home where he’ll have time to adjust to a new environment as well as different people. Once he develops his confidence, he’s a very friendly fellow who just wants to be loved. Barqs is hoping that his new home has some sunny windows he can settle next to for some serious sunbathing.

The adoption fee for kittens (<6 months) is $150, for adult cats is $100, $25 off each for multiple cats/kittens, and senior cats (7+ years) and special needs cats are 50% off the adoption fee.
