Three Arrested at Concord DUI Checkpoint
Concord, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2021) – Concord Police arrested 3 individuals while conducting a DUI checkpoint on December 17. Officers held the checkpoint at Monument Boulevard and Erickson Drive from 7 PM to 3 AM.
Police contacted 744 vehicles during the evening and arrested three for DUI.
They based the checkpoint locations on a history of crashes and DUI arrests. The primary purpose of checkpoints is not to make arrests, but to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired.
