Successful fundraising gala for Monument Impact -

*Almost 200 guests attended Monument Impact’s Stronger Together fundraiser, which included dinner and entertainment.*

CONCORD, CA (Sept. 22, 2023) — Monument Impact raised more than $76,000 at the Stronger Together gala on Sept. 7 at the Hilton.

The money – double what was donated last year – will support the non-profit’s efforts to help more local immigrants, refugees and neighbors with low incomes feel a sense of belonging.

The event included performances from talented day labor members of Comité Cultural, H.O.M.E.S storytellers and Antioch poet laureate and organizer José Cordón. County Supervisor Ken Carlson presented Monument Impact with a special proclamation, and Antioch Mayor Lamar Thorpe thanked the group for its work in East County.
