Solo Opera needs help to present ‘Scalia/Ginsburg’

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY—Solo Opera has launched a year-end fundraiser to recoup the money lost from the August cancellation of “Scalia/Ginsburg,” so the group can present the show next year.
The opera concerns the bi-partisan friendship between Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia, a conservative, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal. The message of the opera is: “We are different. We are one.”
With the divide in our country, Concord-based Solo Opera believes it is important to produce “Scalia/Ginsburg” to help us to all begin to heal.
