Police K9 and drone help capture car thieves in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, CA (Nov. 30, 2023) — Police in Pleasant Hill and Concord teamed up in a stolen vehicle pursuit that concluded in Pleasant Hill last weekend. Officers established a perimeter after 5 subjects fled from the vehicle on foot.

Concord PD K9 Hancock, as well as additional Officers, including Concord’s drone team, responded to the area. Between K9 Hancock’s nose and the drone observer, 3 of the 5 suspects were located and arrested.

Once located by K9 Hancock, all three complied with Officers orders and were taken into custody without incident.
