Police cruisers attacked during chaotic night of sideshows in Concord and Pleasant Hill
PLEASANT HILL, CA (July 3, 2022) —Police attempting to disrupt a car sideshow Friday night reportedly had objects, including a brick, thrown at them.
A loud and chaotic sideshow took place at Cowell Road and Babel Lane in Concord before the cars fled the scene.
Police believe the same group started up again at Morello Ave. and Paso Nogal Road in Pleasant Hill around 11 p.m. Residents reported the screeching tires and the strong smell of burning rubber. PHPD said that the sideshow participants kicked and threw objects and at their cruisers when they arrived at the scene.
