One man dead, another injured after shooting in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, CA (Mar. 19, 2024) — Just after noon on Tuesday, police in Pleasant Hill responded to  reports of a shooting in the area of Twinbridge Circle near Longbrook Way. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots with two victims injured and lying on the ground.

It is unclear if the men shot each other or if someone else was involved. The investigation is ongoing.

Upon arrival, police and medical personnel found two adult male victims with multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. One victim was pronounced deceased, the second is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The identities of both victims are withheld pending contact with family members.

A suspect is not in custody at this time.
