Oakhurst memorial tournament benefits Maui fire victims

CLAYTON, CA (Nov. 26, 2023) — The third annual Ed Lexon Golf Tournament raised more than $10,000 for the Maui Fire Relief Fund.

The raffle brought in more than $5,000, with a matching gift by an anonymous Oakhurst Men’s Club member bringing the total to more than $10,000.

The Nov. 10 event at Oakhurst Country Club included about 110 golfers, plus friends and family members – including Lexon’s widow, Rosi.

The tournament honors Lexon for his 30+ years as secretary/treasurer of the Men’s Club before he died three years ago. Board member Todd Dorman introduced Rosi prior to the event, thanking her for Ed’s devotion to Oakhurst and the Men’s Club.
