CONCORD, CA — Caltrans will replace concrete slabs along various lanes on northbound SR-242, in Concord, between the northbound I-680 split and the Market Street on-ramp.

The work is scheduled to start Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12:00 AM.

During work hours, a full overnight highway closure will be in effect along northbound SR-242 between the northbound I-680 split and the Market Street on-ramp to SR-242 from 12:00 AM until 6:00 AM.

Detour: During this closure detour signs will be posted; motorists will be directed to use the northbound I-680 Willow Pass Road off-ramp and continue east. Motorists will then be directed to eastbound on Market Street and continue onto the on-ramp back to SR-242.

Motorists should expect delays and watch for detour signs.
