New Concord full-day childcare program registration opens Aug. 27

The City of Concord’s Parks & Recreation Department has announced its brand new, full-day childcare program. The program will assist working families with distance learning, provide supervision, and recreational activities during the week.

Registration opens on Thursday, August 27 at 9 a.m. for residents and will be first come first serve. Non-resident registration will open August 29 at 9 a.m.

Explore N’ More is a new full day care option to assist working families in distance learning, provide supervision, and recreational activities during the week. Based on the success of our socially distanced day camps (Backyard Explorers and East Bay Explorers), we are confident the City of Concord Parks & Recreation Department can provide a safe program for your child.

This program is available for children TK-8th grade, and runs Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The program is open to students in any school district.
