Concord’s new tenant protection program goes into effect Aug. 28

CONCORD, CA—On July 28, the Concord City Council adopted a new Residential Tenant Protection Program. The program goes into effect Friday, Aug. 28. Key provisions of the program include:

  • Relocation assistance for no-fault just cause evictions
  • Requires that a tenant be provided a written lease with the appropriate minimum lease terms

The program sunsets on January 1, 2030.
