Martinez Sturgeons to host Pecos League All-Star game Sunday

Sturgeon players bring ‘Field of Dreams’ to Martinez waterfront

Martinez, CA (July 8, 2023) — The Martinez Sturgeon semi-professional baseball team is hosting the Pecos League All-Star Game on Sunday, July 9, in Martinez.

The event starts with a home run derby at noon. John Kelly will perform the National Anthem at 1:40 p.m. The game starts at 2 p.m.

Joe DiMaggio’s boat The Joltin’ Joe will be on display.

All games are played at Martinez Waterfront Park, 1204 Joe DiMaggio Drive. Tickets, priced at $10 each, are available at the park or online at www.Martinezsturgeon.com.
