Help local author tell the story of Concord’s history

CONCORD, CA (July 9, 2023) — Local author Joel Harris is working on two new books about Concord’s history and needs your help. The two books are “Concord: Then and Now,” and “Concord After WWII.”

Harris will will be writing live and taking submissions at Berkshire Books on Clayton Road. You can drop by and visit, tell stories, bring items, and help him write the books live.

  • Saturday July 15, 1 to 5
  • Thursday July 20, 1 to 5
  • Sunday July 23, 1 to 5

“Concord Then and Now” will feature historical images of important places in Concord with current images of what these places look like today.

“Concord After WWII” will be a sequel to Harris’ first book “Images of America Concord,” and will highlight Concord from 1945 through the 1990’s.
