Local Rotarian honored as ambassador

CONCORD, CA (Aug. 3, 2023) — In a nod to his exemplary role, Clayton Valley Concord Sunrise Rotary member Larry Hutchings is Rotary District 5160’s first Rotary ambassador.

The title was created specifically for Hutchings, who represents the good Rotary does throughout the world. He has spread the word about Rotary and the Rotary Foundation, leading to a significant contribution to the Rotary International Foundation.

Hutchings has been a dedicated member of Clayton Valley Concord Sunrise Rotary since 1991, serving as club president, charitable board president and an international service director. His leadership, commitment and substantial involvement with Rotary has been an inspiration to all Rotarians who know him.
