WALNUT CREEK, CA (May 30, 2024) — Lindsay Wildlife Experience urgently needs plastic dog/cat kennels to help care for barn owl patients. The kennels should have the specific dimensions: 20″ wide X 30″ deep X 23″ high. These carriers are crucial for the rehabilitation of these birds.

Why do they need them? This year, the Wildlife Hospital has seen an unprecedented number of barn owl patients. This comes likely due to an increase in their food supply. The pet carriers provide a safe haven for these feathered friends until they get ready to take flight and be moved to an aviary.

Can you help? Whether you have slightly used carriers or can contribute via their Amazon Wishlist, every donation makes a difference in giving these majestic creatures a second chance at life in the wild.

Contact hospitalcoordinator@lindsaywildlife.org for more info on how to donate.
