Independence Day the Clayton Way
CLAYTON, CA (July 4, 2023) — Clayton’s traditional 4th of July parade kicked off at 10 a.m. with. kids on bikes and scooters, in wagons and on dad’s shoulders along with the family dog all decked out in red, white and blue.
Following the kids, the VFW Post 1525 presented the colors for the National Anthem.
The Rotary Club served up a delicious Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.m. to get things started. Thanks to all involved in making the parade a safe and fun experience. Clayton knows how to do 4th of July right. Happy Independence Day to all.
