Help update Contra Costa's Wildfire Protection PlanEveryone needs to prepare for wildfires. Help update the community wildfire protection plan for Contra Costa County.

The Diablo Firesafe Council is asking for public input on wildfire risks and hazards. Share your concerns and your opinion on strategies to reduce risk.

A Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a collaboratively developed plan that identifies wildland fire hazards, prioritizes ways to reduce those hazards and recommends measures for homeowners and communities to reduce ignitability of structures.  The Diablo Fire Safe Council is working with local fire departments, agencies, homeowner groups and others to update the existing Contra Costa County CWPP.
