Groveside Bistro in Clayton has some special events planned for June and July

Livermore born Chef Judi Green left the Silicon Valley high tech arena to attend the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu cooking program in Paris and never looked back. She moved to Clayton in 2018 and opened Groveside Bistro.

CLAYTON, CA (June 23, 2022) —Groveside Bistro has some special events coming up this summer.

First up, on Saturday, June 25, starting at 10 a.m., the rustic restaurant has a special brunch planned during Clayton’s first-ever Gay Pride parade. In addition to their delicious menu items (Click here to view the Pride brunch menu), the first 24 customers of the day will get a free rainbow cupcake.

Next, on July 3, Groveside will celebrate its anniversary with another special brunch. This includes FREE beignets all-day to their brunch customers. This brunch starts at 10 a.m.

In addition, you can celebrate July 4 with a patriotic brunch. Brunch will run 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 4. Children will recieve a FREE patriotic surprise.

Bastille Day cooking demonstration

On July 14, Bastille Day, the bistro will host a cooking demonstration by guest chef Joel Harris. The event, featuring certified paella chef Harris, runs from 6 to 8 p.m. It includes sangria tasting and tapas.

Following the demonstration, Groveside will present a “Bastille-style” meal featuring seasfood and traditional paella. Also they will serve chopped salad, french bread and dessert. This event costs $50PP and will have limited space. To reserve you place, send text message to (650) 518-1598.
