Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Rehires Kevin Cabral as President/CEO

Concord, California (Sept. 18, 2023) – The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has announced the return of Kevin Cabral as the new President/CEO of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, commencing on Sept. 18, 2023.

Kevin is no stranger to the Chamber and the Concord community, having previously served as President /CEO from 2019 to 2021. During his previous tenure, he and his team played a pivotal role in supporting local businesses and the community during the challenging times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As a Concord native, Kevin’s connection to our community fuels his passion for giving back,” Chairperson Elect Tim McGallian said. “He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the area by serving on various local boards, including Visit Concord, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, the Walnut Creek Convention and Visitor Bureau, as well as the Gehringer Park Board.”

Cabral’s deep roots in Concord extend beyond his professional commitment. He shares his life in our community with his wife and two dogs. Additionally, both of Kevin’s children have graduated from college and are now contributing to the local workforce.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Kevin Cabral back into the fold as President/CEO. The Board believes that his leadership and experience will help shape the future of our Chamber and bolster our ongoing commitment to supporting Concord’s vibrant businesses.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing President/CEO Melissa Rea for her 10 years of service and leadership and wish her well in her new endeavors as she continues to support local businesses in her new role as Economic Development Specialist for the City of Concord.

As the Chamber embarks on this new chapter, the Board and its members look forward to working with Kevin to further enhance the growth and prosperity of our community. “Please join us in extending a warm welcome back to Kevin Cabral and let us embrace the possibilities that the future holds for our Chamber and our City,” Chairperson of the Board Jenniffer Jimenez.
