This year's Halloween houses of Concord and Clayton are frightening and fun

Frightening and fun haunted houses of Concord and Clayton

“The thing under my bed waiting to grab my ankle isn’t real. I know that, and I also know that if I’m careful to keep my foot under the covers, it will never be able to grab my ankle.” — Stephen King

CONCORD, CA—Happy Halloween 2020. This year has had enough scares to fill up several horror films. Some of us may want to hide under their covers from fright. But others around Concord and Clayton have opted to go all out with their spooky Halloween decorations on full display.

The Pioneer staff has spent the past few days hunting haunted houses. And the Halloween goblins have been busy. We found spirits, spiders and a surprising number of skeletons lurking around the neighborhoods.

If your home is featured in our ghostly gallery, thank you for helping to make this season a little more fun. We hope everyone has a safe Halloween.
