Free e-waste recycling event Nov. 11 in Contra Costa County
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Nov. 3, 2023) — Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery proudly honors America Recycles Day® (ARD) with a Free E-Waste Recycling Drop-off Event on November 11, 2023.
Old computers, printers, televisions, cellphones, and other electronic (e-waste) items don’t have to take up space in your home. You can recycle them for FREE during this special event.
ARD has become a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Held on and around November 15, ARD aims to educate and encourage individuals to become more mindful of what they consume and recycle properly.

You do not need to register for the event. Please consider donating electronics in good condition to a friend, family member, or a charitable organization. Posting online to groups like Craigslist, FreeCycle, or Facebook can provide a great alternative to rehome your working electronics.
Due to special handling and processing required by law, MDRR CANNOT accept items such as household hazardous waste, appliances, batteries, building and construction debris at this event. Vehicles with inappropriate material will be turned away.
