Free E-Waste Drop-Off and Compost Giveaway November 14

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY—Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery honors America Recycles Day with Free E-Waste Drop-Off and Compost Giveaway November 14, 2020. Old computers, printers, televisions, cell phones and other electronic (e-Waste) equipment don’t have to take up space in your home—you can recycle them for free on November 14 at Mt. Diablo Recycling. MDR is part of the recycling and recovery companies of Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery.

The free e-Waste event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  Go to the MDR facility located at 1300 Loveridge Road in Pittsburg, CA. Anyone who drops off their e-Waste items may also receive a bag of free compost. For the safety of guests and staff, please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Staff will assist people with bulky recycling items if needed. Participants can even choose to stay in their cars during drop-off. Mt. Diablo Recycling sponsors this event in conjunction with America Recycles Day. The annual celebration of all things recycling takes place across the country Nov. 15.

Because of restrictions, absolutely no Household Hazardous Waste or appliances will be allowed to be dropped off.
