Emergency Preparedness Fair in Concord Sept. 2CONCORD, CA (Aug. 29, 2021) — Join your community on Sept. 2 for the City’s annual emergency preparedness fair at Todos Santos Plaza. The fair takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. during Music & Market Thursday.

Are you and your family prepared for an earthquake or other natural disaster? Visit the event to learn valuable tips, see safety demonstrations, and pick up free giveaways from local emergency service organizations. The fair will feature representatives from the Concord Police and the Contra Costa Fire Protection District and HAZMAT team. You can also meet reps from the American Red Cross, the Concord Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Concord LISTOS program and the Concord Auxiliary Emergency Radio Services (CARES).

While at the Plaza, pick up farm-fresh produce and hot food items from the farmers’ market, and enjoy the musical stylings of Mama Foxxy & the Whiskey Gypsy Rebels, KAT van Morgan and Nancy Lake & the Ripple Effect. The market begins at 4 p.m. And the concert follows, starting at 6:30 p.m.
