East Contra Costa firefighters train for COVID-19 vaccine injections

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY―Last week firefighter/EMTs from East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, along with other fire agencies, volunteered for training on COVID-19 vaccine administration via intramuscular injections.

Getting firefighter/EMTs trained will add more hands to get more vaccines out into the public on a massive scale. Some upcoming county vaccine clinics will administer vaccine to 1000 people a day.
