Donate a backpack to Bay Area schools at Concord event this Friday

CONCORD, CA (July 26, 2022) — NBC Bay Area, Telemundo 48, along with help from Visit Concord will support local schools with a backpack and school supplies donation drive on Friday, July 29.

The drive will benefit K-12 students in the Bay area, including Mt. Diablo Unified School District students. In Concord, the event runs from 11 am to 7 pm at Salvio Pacheco Square, 2151 Salvio Street.

You can donate backpacks or pay for backpacks and supplies provided at the event. People who donate backpacks will get thank yous from local businesses including Out the Dough, Beard Papas, La Fritanguera, Next Level Burger, Bambino’s, BJ’s Restaurant, Lima, Salsa Mexican Grill and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor (while they last).
