CLAYTON, CA (Mar. 29, 2024) — Engineering Academy and Robotics Club students visited Diablo View Middle School to talk to rising Freshmen Class of 2028 students about the Academy, Robotics and High School life at CVCHS. The 8th graders got the chance to drive the robots. They also learned more about Engineering, Robotics, and what to look forward to at CVCHS.

Clayton Valley Charter offers Introduction to Design (IED), an Art elective, an Engineering course, AND a STEAM class all in one. IED is open to all incoming freshman students. As part of the Engineering and Design Academy Pathway, IED is an Art elective (10 credits), a UC/CSU a-g “f” approved Visual & Performing Arts course.

IED is a project-based curriculum designed for students to design, develop, and construct hands-on solutions to real-world problems.
