Contra Costa Television receives Education Champion award

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Feb. 6, 2024) — Contra Costa Television (CCTV) received the Education Champion award for January 2024. The award recognizes CCTV’s broadcasting of instructional material and promoting the excellent work taking place in Contra Costa County’s public schools.

CCTV received the honor for supporting the County Office of Education during the pandemic by broadcasting instructional materials, the coverage of the Teacher of the Year celebration, and CCTV’s participation in the high school journalism initiative.

CCTV stands as the flagship channel of Contra Costa County’s cable television programming, which broadcasts special events, government meetings, and produced shows. Congratulations to CCTV on this recognition.
