CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Find your forever friend at Contra Costa Animal Services (CCAS) during the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelter FREE adoption event. All pets are free to adopt during the event, which runs from May 5-9, 2021.

CCAS will also offer a free drive-through microchip clinic on Saturday, May 22.

Along with CCAS, Supervisor Karen Mitchoff and the Crowne Plaza will host the microchip clinic in Concord. Microchips can help families ensure that they can find a lost pet. You must make an appointment for the drive-through clinic. This ensures low-contact/social distancing. There will be a maximum of two pets per appointment. See below for the dates of the clinics, as well as the link to schedule your appointment.
