Construction to begin on Willow Pass Road in Concord on June 10
CONCORD, CA (June 6, 2024) — Crews will begin construction on a major sewer project along Willow Pass Road next week, starting Monday, June 10. The work will continue through November.
The project limits, as outlined on the map below, are Landana Drive to Gateway Boulevard.
The most intensive work will occur between Gateway Blvd. and East Street. Drivers are encouraged to avoid driving on Willow Pass Road (Gateway–East) between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. This segment of work will conclude in mid-October. Please consider taking Concord Avenue and Clayton Road.
The remainder of the project, from East Street to Landana Drive, will have lane closures within the traditional hours of 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will also be another project on Willow Pass Road beginning in July, which will have similar limits of work.
