Concord graduates can apply for chamber scholarship
The Concord Chamber of Commerce scholarships program is open to graduates of all Concord high schools.
The chamber will award six, $500 scholarships. To apply, students must be enrolled in a college or vocational program for the fall. The application is essentially the same as past years, with students submitting it by email. However, the school registrar must send the transcripts directly to the chamber. The deadline is 4 p.m. June 5.
“We recognize this is a hard time for students trying to work through schooling at home (seems like the workloads are more from what we are hearing), finals and finishing high school during a shelter in place, so we wanted to give ample time to get the word out and submit,” said Melissa Rea, director of Programs & Marketing at the chamber.
