Concord Dog Parks Closed for Maintenance

Concord Dog Parks Closed for Maintenance until March 15CONCORD, CA—The City of Concord’s two dog parks will be closed for annual turf renovation and general maintenance.

Newhall Park Paw Patch Dog Park is now closed and will reopen Monday, March 15, 2021.

The City’s Baldwin Dog Park will be closed beginning on Monday, March 15 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 19, 2021.

Renovations will include aeration, re-seeding, adding organic mulch, and allowing time for the natural turf grass to grow and fill in the worn areas.

The Paw Patch and Baldwin dog parks are consistently some of Concord’s most popular amenities available for local canines and their owners. Consistent turf renovations will keep the facilities attractive and safe.

The city posted signs at the two facilities to ensure the community is aware of the planned maintenance. The City will also update its Rain Hotline # (925) 671-3479 in the event of any future changes.

Newhall Park is located at 1351 Newhall Parkway, Concord, CA 94521. Baldwin dog park is at John Baldwin Park, 2750 Parkside Circle, Concord, CA 94519.
