Concord Announces Recruitment for Boards and Commissions

Concord, Calif. (April 12, 2023) – The Concord City Council has announced recruitments for openings on several City boards and commissions. Applications are due to the City Clerk by Friday, May 12, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

Commission on Aging – the Commission is seeking five (5) individuals willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027.

Community Services Commission – the Commission is seeking three (3) individuals willing to serve four- year terms ending June 30, 2027.

Concord-Pleasant Hill Health Care District Grant Committee – the Committee is seeking two (2) individuals willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027.

Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission – the Commission is seeking two (2) Adult Members willing to serve four-year terms ending June 30, 2027; one (1) Adult Member willing to serve the remainder of a four-year term ending June 30, 2025; and two (2) Youth Members willing to serve one- year terms, effective September 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024.
