ACCIDENTS

Nov. 22, 6200 Center St.  No Injuries.

ARRESTS

Nov. 22, 5:30 a.m., Crow Place. It was a crime of opportunity for two Hayward car thieves when a Crow Place resident left his car running in the driveway while he ran inside for a minute. That was all it took for a 30-year-old Hayward male and his 24-year-old passenger to jump in and drive off. Police caught up with the two when they got stuck in rush hour traffic on Ygnacio Rd. They were arrested for vehicle theft, conspiracy to commit a crime and probation violation. Police also found evidence linking the pair to several burglaries close by.

Nov. 27, 6100 Clayton Rd. A 40-year-old Oakland male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service. He was arrested for obstructing/resisting an officer; and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Nov. 27, 5400 Clayton Rd.  A 56-year-old Pittsburg resident was arrested on a warrant after officers responded to a call for service.  He was transported to Concord Police Department.

Dec. 5, 5400 Clayton Rd.  A 33-year-old Clayton resident was arrested on a warrant after being contacted by officers.  He was released on his signed promise to appear.
