Clayton business group awards $35K in scholarships to local students

CLAYTON, CA (June 3, 2023) — The Clayton Business and Community Association awarded nine local seniors from Clayton Valley Charter and one from Berean Christian School a total of $35,000 in scholarships. The awards were presented by Tuija Catalano, chair of the scholarship committee, at the CVCHS Awards Night May 25.

The CBCA raises several hundred thousand dollars each year from major events produced in the spring, summer and fall. All funds are donated back to the community in the form of charitable giving, civic projects and scholarships.
