City of Concord seeks input on separated bike path for Monument Blvd.CONCORD, CA — The City is working on an important project to provide pedestrian and bicycle connectivity from the Monument Corridor to the Concord BART station.

Construction will include adding a separated shared-use path along the east side of Monument Boulevard between Systron Drive and Cowell Road, along with intersection improvements at those two intersections.

To seek public input on the project, the City is hosting a virtual community meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, March 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

During the meeting, staff will share a brief project overview and the preliminary project plans, followed by a Q&A discussion. This meeting will only cover the design concepts for this particular project.
