ARF stars Nani and Uli are looking for a forever home
Bonded pair Nani and Uli need your help finding a home.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Apr. 8, 2022) — Adopt a new best friend at Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek.

Fourteen-year-old Nani and ten-year-old Uli eagerly wait to find a forever home to spend their gold years as bffs. They might be an older couple, but they still know how to make the best of life.

Nani, currently 51 pounds, loves to roll in the grass and get loving cuddles from her people. Uli, currently 74 pounds, hasn’t lost her good looks and has the most beautiful, striking blue eyes.

A pair of sweet girls with a mellow side, they just wants to enjoy their retirement where they can rest and play at their leisure — and of course be loved and doted on. This bonded pair has a positive history with other dogs, as well.

View available dogs and cats online or visit ARF in-person during open hours – no appointment necessary. The center opens for adoptions Wednesday through Sunday, 12 to 6 pm. You can take advantage of early-bird sign-in Wednesday through Sunday beginning at 9 am.

The ARF team will guide you in choosing a pet, sharing information about their history and behavior. They also provide helpful resources. This process can take time — please allow 60-90 minutes for in-person appointments.

ARF adoption fees: $250 for an adult dog, $350 for a puppy (<6 months), $125 for a special-needs dog, $175 for a special-needs puppy (<6 months), and $125 for a senior dog (7+ years). Adoption fees are waived for US military Veterans.
