Paving Work on Morgan Territory Road to cause long delays between Clayton and Livermore

CLAYTON, CA (June 9, 2023) — The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform paving work on Morgan Territory Road next week. The work takes place between the Morgan Territory Regional Preserve (9401 Morgan Territory Road) and Marsh Creek Road.

Work begins on Monday, June 12, 2023, through Thursday, June 29, 2023, barring unforeseen circumstances. Weather permitting, the project runs from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays).

Traffic control will regulate travel through the work area. Drivers should expect long delays and CCCPWD encourages travelers to use alternative routes to avoid this area.
