Contra Costa County Fire District graduated 28 new firefighters this week

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Feb. 17, 2023) — Contra Costa Fire Protection District graduated 28 new firefighters from Academy 58 this week.

The graduates will bolster ranks as Con Fire prepares to reopen the long-closed Fire Station 74 in Pinole March 1.  The opening represents part of a new contract for service there. The new grads will also contribute to staffing a new fire truck in Antioch later this spring.
