CLAYTON, CA (June 18, 2021) — The City of Clayton announced the return of Concerts in The Grove. The city canceled the annual summer concert series in 2020 due to COVID concerns.

The opening band will take the stage at the park’s gazebo July 17. Musicians will play Saturday’s from 6 to 8:30 p.m. through Sept. 1.

Some guidelines:

  • Chairs, blankets, tables must be attended until 4 pm concert
  • Please, NO glassware, BBQs, water balloons, beach balls or “silly-string.”
  • Please clean up before leaving. This is your park — help keep it clean & safe
  • Walking to The Grove is recommended as parking is limited in the downtown area.

CARNAVAL —The Santana Tribute
This outstanding Santana tribute band meticulously reenacts the wide repertoire of Santana material that includes well-known songs as well as some of the more obscure B-sides that never made the charts. Dance along while a full band, including horn section, completes the Latin rock sound we’ve come to know and love. @carnavalsantanatribute

Aja Vu — The Music of Steely Dan & Chicago
This band celebrates the best of Steely Dan and Chicago from “Reelin’ in the Years” and “Hey 19” to “Saturday in the Park” and “25 or 6 to 4,” performing the music with pure love for the harmonies and classic horns of the original recordings. www.ajavu.com

The Cocktail Monkeys
