Yard House is open at The Veranda
Concord Mayor Carlyn Obringer joined general manager Raj Gharmalkar (right) and director of operations Ryan Rossi for the Yard House ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday.

Yard House, an “upscale-casual eatery” officially opened Monday at the Veranda in Concord. The menu includes burgers, pizza, street tacos, salads, steak and seafood. A selection of vegetarian and vegan items are available as well. Yard House is known for serving more than 100 American craft and import beers. Local brews from Concord, Walnut Creek and Martinez will be served. The restaurant chain was founded in Long Beach, CA, in 1996 and now has over 75 locations around the country.

The 16,000 sq. ft. eatery can seat 430 customers with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating.

Yard House is open daily for lunch and dinner with half off appetizers during happy hour from 3-6 p.m. weekdays.
