Two Diablo View Middle school students chosen for Braden Fahey Memorial Award

CLAYTON, CA (June 3, 2023) — Braden Fahey was a much beloved 7th grade student at Diablo View Middle School. He was lost too soon at the beginning of this school year.

Teachers and peers respected and admired Braden as both a student, and athlete. He was particularly known for his sportsmanship and being a good friend to many.

In memory of Braden Fahey, Diablo View Middle School Parent Faculty Club in conjunction with the DVMS administration, have established a perpetual award in Braden’s name.

The Braden Fahey Memorial Award will be issued every year to two 7th grade students who exemplify the traits of friendship and good sportsmanship. Each year one boy and one girl will receive the honor to reflect Braden’s many friendships. These students will receive the award and have their names added to a display on campus.

The 2023 DVMS PFC Board has announced this year’s recipients: Leah Jensen and Brady Lovick.
