Three DVMS students heading to TechTrek

Penelope Baumgartner, Elyssa Dela Pena and Blossom Barba are this year’s recipients of TechTrek scholarships from the Clayton Branch of the American Association of University Women. The science/math camps at universities, including Sonoma State, foster awareness in seventh-grade female students of career paths in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). The Diablo View Middle school students will have the opportunity to develop relationships with like-minded peers and learn about STEM careers from leaders who run workshops.
